Emotional Health

Emotional well-being is a key determinant of your happiness with life. It is all too easy to get stuck in self-defeating patterns of thinking or be flooded by over-powering emotions (such as anger, depression, guilt, jealousy or grief). These thoughts and emotions may seem 'to have a life of their own' and be 'completely out of control'. However, it is possible to resolve these difficulties by, for example:

  • resolving their underlying cause

  • learning techniques to lower emotional arousal

  • using techniques to separate from automatic thinking loops

  • recognising and challenging troublesome thoughts

In helping you deal with your difficulty, I use not only techniques from hypnotherapy, but also meditative-,  behavioural- and cognitive- therapies. Together, these form a powerful combination of tools to assist you in taking control of your emotional health.
